This is a 2-day workshop to highlight recent challenges and developments related to big data problems in neuroscience. During the first day (which will be open to the public), a group of experts will discuss some of the emerging big data challenges in the neuroscience of learning, memory, and behavior. We hope these talks inspire early-career researchers and introduce them to key research projects in this field. During the second day (which will be open to the NeuroDataScience faculty, trainees, and invited speakers), we will separate into several working each including both data scientists and neuroscientists. Each group will work on at least one of the challenges discussed during the first day in order to identify potential solutions.
The $25 registration fee will help cover lunch and coffee for the duration of the workshop.
