Former center fellow, Dr. Christopher Rackauckas received multiple research awards
Our former CMCF center fellow Dr. Christopher Rackauckas (2018-2019) was recently awarded for the 2020 ISoP Emerging Scientist Award. The International Society of Pharmacometrics (ISoP) Awards Ceremony was hosted by the Eleventh American Conference of Pharmacometrics (ACoP11) on Monday, November 9, 2020. Simultaneously, Dr. Rackauckas also won the ACoP11 Quality Award, which was for his work on accelerating Pfizer’s drug discovery pipeline with GPU-accelerated differential equation solvers.
Dr. Christopher Rackauckas is an Applied Mathematics Instructor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Senior Research Analyst at University of Maryland, Baltimore, School of Pharmacy in the Center for Translational Medicine. He is also the Director of Scientific Research at Pumas-AI and Lead Developer of the SciML Open Source Software Organization.
Dr. Rackauckas earned his Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of California, Irvine, in 2018.
