Dr. Christopher Miles received an NSF CAREER Award

Congratulations to the CMCF center faculty, Dr. Christopher Miles, who received the 2024 NSF CAREER Award. The award will be used to support a Ph.D. student from the Mathematical, Computational, and Systems Biology program as well as activities at UCI for first-generation STEM students.

Dr. Miles’ project is entitled “Learning stochastic spatiotemporal dynamics in single-molecule genetics”. See the abstract here.
